“It’s A Windy Day” v.2, and diagrams!

Version 1 (left) and simpler Version 2 (right)

Version 1 (left) and simpler Version 2 (right)

(Original post, with details on the how/why I came up with this piece.)

When I sat down to sketch some diagrams for this, I realized that you could leave out the step that provides a strong separation between the mainsail and the hull, and still have a nice looking piece – and, as a bonus, it made it even simpler to fold!

So here are both versions, and a PDF of the (hand-drawn) diagrams. Please let me know if you try it, and if you have any problems with it!
