“Mice” by Yoshizawa

Mice by Yoshizawa

Created by: YOSHIZAWA Akira

Published in: Creative Origami (“sousaku origami”) (in Japanese)

My section of wet-folded models for my library display upcoming in September was sparser than I wanted, and for some reason I thought of these mice. In typical Yoshizawa-model fashion, the mice required many practice versions to find good (surprisingly subtle) angle choices to create the postures. It was well worth it, though. The final models were wet-folded from Canson pastel paper.

Update: I’ve put together a little website with the Library Display information, listing all the pieces, their designers, etc. Enjoy!
